Now, probably half of my watchers I got from the lovely bonding moments of Bloodbath 2010, so I'm assuming most if not all of you would love to visit that again, right? And for those of you who have never done an event before, now's a good time to take a seat and enjoy yourselves

In short, just stick around the main community (hetalia.livejournal) and the events community (hetalia-events.livejournal). Things are sliiiiiiiightly different than how things were for say, Foolsbath or Bloodbath. But I think the changes are for the good, this may just be the best event yet (I'm even thinking this may top last year's event, and even after Hetaween I can't say anything has topped Bloodbath 2010)

I was offline for a while so I just realized last night I was tagged by the wonderful little-miss-boredom, as you can see here, but because I had a lot of homework and fell asleep practically immediately afterwards, I am just now about to fill that. But before I do that, I have something on my mind about dA I would really love to share.

I'm sure someone must have suggested something like this before or something similar, but I want to add my input as well.
DeviantART really, really, really, REALLY needs to give people the option to change their username. I've seen plenty of people abandon their accounts for new ones just because they don't like their username.

The popular artists probably wouldn't do that if dA's concerned about that. They got popular on that name and wouldn't be likely to change it.

Lesser known artists would benefit if they have a username that they don't like or think is unlikeable (misspelled, weaboo-ish, out-of-fashion, poorly describes them, etc.)

If people trying to pretend to be other artists by taking their old username is a problem, that could easily be avoided by dA making it so that you can only take unused usernames. For example, if I changed my username to ~Bob-Saget, no one else could use the name ~Jackepeg; it may not be in use but it is taken so no one else may take it.

Also, there could be time restrictions on this so people couldn't confuse others (Like you could only change your name every month, 6 months, year, etc.).

_{And I really hate to say this, like, REALLY HATE TO SAY THIS, but deviantART could even make some little money off of the deal. Not very much, but maybe a dollar or so per person(which would really add up quickly with dA's high population). Just a thought~}
